The client asked us to divide a service space that we had designed several years ago, known as the Azaleia sales room. (See Project), with the aim of creating an outlet. We knew that we had to separate this large space in two and decided that the most practical way would be by building a wall. However, we wanted this wall to be dynamic and convey the feeling that the place was still one despite the physical division.
We understood that the use of slotted panels was important for the operation of the outlet. With this information, we proceeded to design a wall in the shape of a zigzag, this wall would start at a height of 2.80 meters and would go down until it reached 1.90 meters high. An iron pile solution was also devised with a self-adjusting system that would allow them to be flexible in the event of earthquakes or height variations.
We decided that the grooved panel would be continuous and cover the walls from the floor to the ceiling, with a height of 4 meters. In this way, we managed to create a solid and impressive space.
Later, we were asked to apply the same design scheme for the outlet in Arequipa. In this case, it was a large cube, so it was decided to completely cover it with grooved panels. On the ceiling, a decorative system of RGB intelligent lights that change color according to the client's criteria was installed. In addition, a wide rear arch was created that serves as access to the warehouse, being visible from inside the establishment.
